BioMy name is SJ. It's a nickname that I use both in real life and online. However I am known by other aliases at various places on the net, including the following:

I no longer post there any more, it was time to move on.
Those are my main places of posting as well as this LJ. If I have registered anywhere else then I have either forgotten my name there and no longer post there or I have been lazy and not updated this intro.
This as you may have noticed is my fandom journal. Everything I discuss here is about what I'm watching, reading or thinking about in regards to fandom. This will include reviews, thoughts regarding general themes, possible discussions about the fandom environment itself, things that I have made in relation to fandom (icons, vids, fanfic etc) and maybe some random "OMG! how good was that" posts- however I try to limit them.
However if you are curious about me the person and want to learn more feel free to add my other usernamesjishere. That journal has more to do with me, so just add a comment on the "friends only" page about where you know me from and why you want to be added and I'll add you to the list.
The tv shows I am following at the moment are:
Battlestar Galactica (in hiatus till 2009, ah!)
Supernatural (waiting for season 4)
The Office- US version
The Chaser's War on everything (It's on hiatus till 2009 I think)
The Wire (still catching up on season 3)
The Hollowmen (on the ABC)
The Middleman (best new show of the year, fingers crossed for a 2nd season)
Reaper (waiting for season 2)
Gossip Girl (my guilty pleasure)
The Cleaner (in it's first season, watching for Grace Park)
The Circuit (currently catching up with the 1st season on SBS)

I am not really one of those people who ship couples in every show they watch. The couple has to be pretty special for me to be invested in them.
In the past I have been into:
- Janeway/Chakotay (Star Trek: Voyager)
- Mickie/Georgia (Police Rescue)
The ship I am invested in now is Adama/Roslin in the new Battlestar Galactica. There are so many reasons why this ship rocks my fandom world so much more then any other but I will leave that for another day.
I am also intrigued by: Kara/Sam (BSG), Kara/Leoban (BSG) and my crack!ships!(it will never happen but it's fun to think about ships) would be Roslin/Zarek, Roslin/Baltar and Roslin/Caprica Six.
